Georgian Rugby National Team came out on top twice at the World championship. The successful gambling helped the team to raise the prestige of Georgian Rugby on national and international levels, as well as among business and commercials.

In August, 2007 Georgian "Beach Rugby" organized the first tourney in Kobuleti City. The mass media personnel and other famous people took part in the tourney, which made the tour enjoyable and attracted the huge audience.
"Beach Rugby" is the dynamic, enjoyable sport which usually held in seaside and other resorts, using a field that is a fraction of the size of a standard rugby field and accompanied by the musical timeouts and other enjoyable events.

1. March 9-10, Bakuriani, The Snow Rugby Festival
2. August 15-17, Beach Sports Student Games. With the support of "Georgian Sports Department" Georgian young sportsmen will participate in the Games.
3. August 23-24, Kobuleti (Two days commercial tourney).
4. October 25-26 In the frame of celebration "Tbilisoba" - "Wine Festival", supported by Tbilisi City Administration the Beach Rugby Tourney will be held and sportsmen as well as amateurs will participate.
